  • What is the purpose of Providence Foundation in the community?

    To serve the needy and inspire them to make better decisions so they can achieve their hopes and dreams.

  • How many times does Providence Foundation go out into the homeless community and provide food?

    Two times per month.

  • At what locations does Providence Foundation serve the homeless?

    We set up and serve food to the homeless community in the most highly concentrated homeless areas in Franklin County.


  • How can Providence Foundation be of help to the Homeless?

    By providing food, clothing, hygiene items and access to resources for immigration, birth certificates, work permits, temporary housing, affordable housing, financial literacy, budgeting and job-readiness skills.

  • Can Providence Foundation give me a time frame to get out of homelessness?

    With our support it is possible to be in temporary or affordable housing within 3 to 6 months.

  • How is Providence Foundation going to protect my information from getting into the wrong hands?

    We do not collect personal information.


  • How can I get cash from Providence Foundation?

    We do not provide cash, but we do provide Gift Cards designated for a specific purpose.


  • Does Providence Foundation provide Counselling, Medicaid, and Food Stamps (EBT CARD)?

    No, we do not directly provide these services, but we do connect individuals with the proper resources. We are available to help with the completion and submission of applications to the proper resource.

    To fund our activities and programs which serve those in need.

  • Can I get a tax donation receipt when I donate to Providence Foundation?

    Yes. You will automatically receive a receipt when you donate through the website. Our EIN # is on the receipt and this will serve as documentation for your tax deduction.

  • Who is benefiting from the donation?

    Immigrants, Refugees, and the Homeless Community.

  • How legitimate is Providence Foundation?

    We have pre-set amounts ranging from $5.00 to $500.00 on the DONATE page.

    100%. No salaries are paid to the Board of Directors.
